AIVet was born from a simple observation: pet owners spend hours searching the internet for reliable health information, often finding conflicting or outdated advice. How We Use Artificial Intelligence

When you ask a question through our AI Health Chat, the system draws from a knowledge base that includes clinical guidelines, species-specific health databases, nutritional science, and behavioral research to generate a relevant, accurate response.
However, we believe in responsible AI. Our system is explicitly designed to recognize its limitations. It will not attempt to diagnose specific conditions, prescribe medications, or replace the clinical judgment of a trained veterinarian. Instead, it helps pet owners understand symptoms, learn about potential causes, and determine the appropriate urgency level — empowering them to seek the right care at the right time.
All AI-generated responses include appropriate disclaimers, and our system is programmed to escalate to "consult your veterinarian immediately" recommendations when symptoms suggest potentially serious conditions such as toxin ingestion, respiratory distress, seizures, or sudden behavioral changes.
